Profit
Know which products can afford a Prime Day deal before you set one.
Jump to skill ↓Overview
This skill helps you plan Prime Day deals and ad spend for your whole store. It compares last Prime Day with the same days one month earlier, then uses your last 30 days of costs to work out the deepest discount each product can take while keeping a 20% margin before ad spend. If a product can't hold that margin, it gets a NO, no matter how well it sold last year.
You get a 7-tab Excel workbook:
- Overview: revenue and profit lift from last Prime Day, how many products can take a deal, the products that need fixing, and the key takeaways.
- Summary: every product's Prime Day sales, profit, margin, and ad spend next to the baseline month, with the lift for each.
- Prime Day P&L: the full cost breakdown for each product during the event.
- PD vs Baseline: Prime Day and the baseline side by side, with a note on what happened for each product.
- Recommendations: the suggested discount, deal price, and PPC move for each product, with the reasoning, plus a separate section for products that weren't selling last Prime Day.
- Audit Flags: products losing money or overspending on ads, with a per-unit cost breakdown, break-even prices, three ways to fix each one, and whether it should run a deal.
- Daily Drill-Down: day-by-day results for your top 8 products during the event.
